Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how iTech Interactive ("iTech Interactive", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, software-as-a-service products, APIs, and related services (together, the "Services").
Some of our apps or products may have their own privacy notice that adds detail about that specific product. If a product-specific notice conflicts with this Policy, the product-specific notice applies to that product.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information, such as your name, username, email address, password, date of birth, and profile details.
- Content you create, upload, or send through the Services, such as posts, photos, comments, messages, files, and feedback.
- Payment information if you buy a subscription or other paid feature. Payments are processed by our payment providers or app stores (such as Apple, Google, or Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Communications with us, such as support requests, survey answers, and emails.
Information collected automatically
- Usage information, such as features you use, pages you view, actions you take, and the date and time of your activity.
- Device and connection information, such as device type, operating system, app version, browser type, language, IP address, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Push notification tokens, if you allow notifications.
- Log and diagnostic data, such as crash reports and performance data.
- Cookies and similar technologies on our websites. See section 7.
Information from others
- Sign-in providers. If you sign in with a third-party account (such as Apple, Google, or another provider), we receive the information you allow that provider to share, such as your name and email address.
- Other users may provide information about you, for example when they mention you, invite you, or share content with you.
- Partners, such as affiliate networks or analytics providers, may tell us about actions taken through our Services (for example, that a purchase was made through a link).
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including creating and managing your account.
- To show your content to the people you choose and enable features such as messaging, sharing, and notifications.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To keep the Services safe and secure, including detecting fraud, spam, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- To understand how the Services are used, fix problems, and improve and develop features.
- To send you service messages, such as security alerts and changes to our terms, and, where permitted, product updates. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your private messages or personal photos to train artificial intelligence models without your separate consent.
3. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information on these legal bases: to perform our contract with you; for our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Services), where those interests are not overridden by your rights; with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time; and to comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described below:
- With other users, according to your settings and the features you use.
- With service providers that help us run the Services, such as hosting, storage, email delivery, push notifications, analytics, customer support, and payment processing. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- With partners you interact with, for example a retailer or affiliate network when you follow a shopping link.
- For legal reasons, if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of iTech Interactive, our users, or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days, except where we must keep it longer to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our agreements. Backups are overwritten on a regular schedule.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the site, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on consent; and
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or of targeted advertising (we do not do either).
You can update most account information and delete your account inside our apps. To make another request, contact us at the address below. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents: in the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information described in section 1 (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet or network activity, approximate geolocation, user content, and inferences) for the purposes in section 2, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in section 4. We have not sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and some of our products require users to be older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for transfers of personal information.
11. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to websites, stores, or services run by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Services or by email before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top shows when this Policy was last updated.
